Our Premium Ham (Cut in 3’s)

Our Premium Ham is made using high quality ham portions. It is cured by traditional methods using the finest cures and spices, then smoked using the old fashion technique with natural hardwood maple chips instead of artificial sprays and dips. It is a fully cooked product but we recommend it always be served hot as this will enhance the flavour.  Each case contains two whole hams which have been cut into three portions each, a butt portion, a shank portion, and a boneless portion – each portion is labelled accordingly.

This product is fully cooked.  Serve chilled or heated. Easy roasting instructions are included on the back of the label: 1) Preheat oven to 375’F (190’C); 2) remove ham from packaging, transfer to an open roasting pan secured over a drip rack; 3) heat for 14-16 minutes per pound (30-35min./kg), until meat thermometer reads 160’F. Cover with aluminum foil if the surface darkens before it has heated through; 4) remove from oven, loosely cover with foil, let stand for about 15 minutes before slicing.  Simple carving hints are also included on the back of the label.
