Smoked Turkey

 

This “grade A” turkey is cured using special cures to give it a distinct flavour. It is then smoked and cooked for several hours (to a golden brown) using natural hardwood wood chips instead of chemical dips and sprays. There is no MSG added. This product is fully cooked but for the best flavour we suggest heating to an internal of temperature of 160°F (71°C) before being served.  This is a nice change from the traditional smoked ham products and cooked turkeys. Our Smoked Turkey is produced seasonally for Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Turkey, Water, Salt, Sugar, Sodium phosphate, Sodium erythorbate, Spice, Sodium nitrite, Smoke

Preparation:

This product is fully cooked but for the best flavour, we suggest heating to an internal of temperature of 160°F (71°C) before being served. Suggested heating instructions are included on the label: Preheat oven to 350°F (170°C).  Remove plastic wrapper and place on rack in a large roasting pan adding approximately 1 inch (25mm) of cold water to bottom of pan.  Cover and cook at 350°F (170°C) for 1-2 hours or until desired temperature is reached.  Also excellent sliced cold and served as hors d’oeuvre.
